HRT microStreamer USB DAC & Headphone Amplifier
What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision magazine gave the HRT microStreamer 5/5 Stars and said "HRT has struck Gold again, the microStreamer is an excellent buy." It was also Group Test Winner.
The microStreamer is an ultra high performance external sound card that connects between a computer, tablet, smartphone or any other compliant host to your headphones or audio system (please note that iPhone® users will require the iStreamer). USB connected and powered, the microStreamer is simple to use and provides a level of improvement that has never before been possible. Machined from solid aluminium, the microStreamer is durable, compact and beautiful to behold.
With its high performance asynchronous USB transceiver, digitally controlled analogue attenuator coupled to an OCL amplifier, the microStreamer provides a state of the art experience. All power requirements for the microStreamer are supplied from the USB bus and operation is simple, just plug into any available USB port and in a matter of seconds and you will be ready to experience a level of sound that will astonish even the most discerning listener.
Utilizing native Audio Class 1.0 drivers (present in all modern PC, Mac and Linux computers) there are no drivers or software to install. Simply connect it to your computer via the included USB cable, select microStreamer on your computer, tablet or smartphone and you are ready to experience sound at its best. With its jitter free interface, the microStreamer will transform your computer into a better than CD quality source.
LED indicators show the current sample rate (32k, 44k1, 48k, 88k2 & 96k), as well as the state of the mute circuit, so you will always know at a glance your systems operating mode.
